emocha empowers every patient to take every dose of medication through our digital adherence and coaching platform. Our technology radically improves adherence, reduces costs, and strengthens the patient-provider relationship. We’re a fast-paced startup looking for someone to lead development and implementation of our adherence coaching program, while managing new enterprise customers. Job Overview

This is a new position at emocha so you will have the opportunity to shape this role and influence how it can best serve our mission and customers. Your duties will include:

  • Design, implement, and oversee adherence coaching program
  • Onboard and manage new enterprise customers
  • Support ongoing relationships between emocha and customers
  • Work alongside our sales and product team to serve our partners and their patients
  • Monitor project planning and progress tracking to ensure the timeliness, effectiveness, and overall success of customer implementations

  • Have experience building and managing healthcare programs to improve well-being and support healthy behavior change. A background working with underserved communities to eliminate health disparities is strongly preferred.

  • Have exceptional communication skills
  • Are driven, have a proactive attitude, can stay a step ahead of client and company needs, and are able to face frequent challenges with a positive mindset
  • Can quickly prioritize multiple competing needs
  • Effectively gauge tricky situations and respond thoughtfully, acting in the best interests of emocha and our partners
  • Have organizational software experience with an aptitude for using various programs and tools, including Hubspot, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, etc.
  • Work collaboratively in a dynamic team setting to solve complex problems

Bonus points if you:

  • Have worked for or with a health insurance company or large health system
  • Have experience in front of clients, partners, and other external stakeholders
  • Have an understanding of the U.S. healthcare system, health policy, digital health, and the startup work environment

About the role

We’re looking for a product designer with excellent user experience, interaction, and visual design skills. You’ll work on design problems from beginning to end – working alongside our business and tech team to conceptualize an idea, design, test, and iterate, engaging end users along the way. As a product designer, you’re committed to making sure the work we produce is usable, intuitive, and intelligent and you enjoy seeing work have tangible impact.

You’re ideal for this role if…

  • You have a great portfolio that exhibits a variety of interface design work and a strong visual aesthetic
  • You love crafting beautiful interfaces and care about the details at every step of the journey from concept to interactive prototype
  • You are experienced in user-centered design methods and best practices including research and analytics – cultivating a deep understanding of the needs and aspirations of the people for which our products are designed
  • You’re an excellent communicator, able to clearly present your ideas and rationale in conversations with others, and through prototypes, models, and mockups
  • You’re a well-organized, passionate, and empathetic team member, seeking to improve what we build and how we do it
  • You thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-moving environment who enjoys working closely with smart colleagues, including business, product, and engineering

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer
  • Experience designing and evolving the lifecycle of a product from ideation to launch (startup experience appreciated)
  • Strong visual aesthetic, experience creating visual systems, and take pride in delivering beautiful, high fidelity, production-ready designs
  • Strong conceptual thinking that balances user needs, business goals, and clinical insights
  • Experience using web analytics data to inform design decisions
  • Experience designing products for healthcare and/or behavior change (bonus points)
  • Experience using data science as part of the design process (more bonus points)

Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement front-end user interfaces based on mockups / wireframes and style guide
  • Develop mobile applications optimized for speed and scale
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and technical team to create optimized user experiences for patients and healthcare professionals
  • Communicate development and progress to non-technical team members

Our Tech Stack:

  • Javascript/Node.js and Python

Requirements:

  • GraphQL
  • An understanding of HIPAA-security best practices
